Antoine Dufour is a graduate student pursuing a Ph.D. in Chemistry at Stony Brook University, being supervised by Nicole S. Sampson, Jian Cao and Stanley Zucker. He obtained his B.A. in Chemistry from SUNY Oswego in New York, where he worked on the "comparison of structures and dynamics of active and inactive antibiotic peptides of Polymyxin B." His present work involves the development of novel inhibitors of Matrix Metalloproteinases. He is also studying the impact of proteases on cell migration and cell invasion.
