Dr. Sommo has worked at Emergency Department at Central Suffolk Hospital since 1987 and served as Director of Emergency Medicine there from 1999 to 2005.  He was Director of QA and Peer Review for local EMS services on the east-end of Long Island from 1999 to 2004.
